Tara Lynn Gable

Tara Lynn Gable, 59, of Ronks, PA, passed away at UPMC Lititz on Sunday, June 21, 2026. She was the fiancé of Tony E. Miller.

Tara was a devoted partner, a loving mother to her two daughters, a proud grandmother to her three grandchildren. Tara was the best Mimi EVER! She cherished every moment with her grandchildren and could not get enough time with them. She had an extraordinary ability to make people feel loved, welcomed, and supported. She was someone whose kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Even while facing the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis, she met life with incredible strength, grace, and compassion. Someone so rare and treasured will never be replaced. In short, she was the glue that made our family beautiful.

She had a great sense of humor that was absolutely hilarious. Tara was known for her bad dad jokes. She loved a good joke too. She had a passion for music, especially the Ramones (Gabba Gabba Hey!), Jeff Bitts, and Tony Miller’s music.

Tara was born in Fort Dix, NJ, she was the daughter of Sharon (Toner) Gable of Dover, DE, and the late Walter Gable. She was a proud army brat and extremely patriotic.

She graduated from John K. Ossi Vo-Tech in Medford, NJ. Tara was a manager of several Wendy’s restaurants in Lancaster County before Multiple Sclerosis forced her into retirement. A person of high energy, strength, and drive, she battled MS for over 20 years on a daily basis and refused to let it get the best of her.

She loved dancing, going to diners with friends and the kids, and vacations to the Jersey Shore and Rehoboth Beach.

Tara’s family includes her fiancé Tony E. Miller of Ronks, two daughters, Kaitlyn D. Rupp-Cummings, wife of Joshua Cummings of East Petersburg, PA, and Jessica Bitts, wife of Jeff Bitts of Conestoga, PA, three grandchildren, Adrianna Cummings, Melanie Bitts, and Jonah Bitts, her mother Sharon (Toner) Gable of Dover, DE, and her brother Tim Gable, of Dover, DE.

In addition to her father Walter Gable, Tara was preceded in death by her son-in-law, David T. Rupp. We take great comfort in knowing that she will be greeted with open arms by all her loved ones in heaven.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a contribution in Tara’s memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, National Headquarters, 6520 N. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2132.
