Sydney Lou Walden

Sydney Lou Walden, formerly known as Forrest S. Walden, aged 30, of Lancaster, PA, passed from this life to the next on March 24, 2026. Throughout her life, Sydney journeyed courageously in many directions, seeking a meaningful place in this world.

She enjoyed music and nature, and in her time with us she came to champion important causes like protecting our planet’s natural beauty, as well as dignity and equality for all people.

Sydney developed into a strong self-advocate and will be remembered for her kind heart, her compassion and her love of family. Her mantra later in life was, “All will be well.”

She is survived by her mother and brothers and a loving, extended family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1 PM at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 321 West Chestnut St., Lancaster, PA 17603.
