Suzanne A. Witwer

Suzanne A. Witwer, 77, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lucy (Beswick) Leach. She was the loving wife of John Witwer with whom she shared over 14 years of marriage.

She worked for over 30 years as an LPN at the Lower Bucks Hospital.

Suzanne enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, bird watching, especially hummingbirds, watching baseball and football but above all her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Suzanne is survived by her children: Karen Joy Reif, William Reif both of Jersey Shore, PA and James Reif of Bensalem, PA. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; stepson, Jonathan P. Witwer, husband of Danielle of Newark, DE, stepdaughter, Abigail S. Pastorella wife of Rocco of Ephrata, PA; sister, Rozanne Pastorella, wife of Charles of Parkland, PA, one nephew and two great nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Leach Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received from 2-3PM at the funeral home on Friday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Suzanne's memory may be made to Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
