Susan E. Hess

Susan E. Hess, 68, of Lititz, PA, passed away on July 25, 2026 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Emeline (Cammauf) Klopp.

Susan owned Attractions Hair Salon in Lititz, where she built lasting friendships with countless clients over the years. She truly loved people and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She liked going out to lunch and taking trips to Florida with her friends. Her Christian faith was an important part of her life and that she found great joy serving others through her mission trips to Haiti. She enjoyed staying active and was dedicated to working out. She made many wonderful friendships through the gym. Susan was an animal lover, especially her cats. She loved spending time with her grandchildren playing board games and doing outdoor activities.

Susan is survived by her two sons: Kyle Hess and Landon Hess, Sr., husband of Hope; two grandchildren: Landon Hess, Jr. and Trey Hess; a sister: Jeanette Schmid; and three nieces: Heather Maloney, Tawn Neal and Erin Sanno.

Susan is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Trout.

Friends will be received from 9-11 AM with a Celebration of Susan’s Life to begin at 11 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.
