Shelly Lynn Korzniecki

Shelly Korzniecki (Denlinger) beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on August 29, 2026, in the comforting embrace of her family after a brave and courageous battle.

Born November 11, 1967, in Lancaster, PA, Shelly's life was a testament to love, resilience, and boundless heart.

She is the cherished daughter of Louis and Claudette (Knotwell) Korzniecki, whose caring upbringing set the foundation for her nurturing spirit. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents “Peachy” and “Bubby” Knotwell; loving nephew Jason Madonna; caring mother-in-law Martha “Penny” Allen; two sisters-in-law, Judy Buchanan, and Joan Groff; and brother-in-law Charles Groff. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth through her family, her devoted husband of 17 years Scott, sister Tammy and her longtime boyfriend Aubrey, niece Kirsten and husband Doug, and her treasured great niece and nephew Stella and Luca. Shelly's life was also blessed by 4 stepdaughters and 5 step grandchildren who hold a special place in Shelly’s heart. Shelly's story would not be complete without mentioning her fur babies which she cherished every day.

A proud graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School class of 1986, her passion for learning continued at Millersville University. Her professional journey was marked by over 30 years of dedication to the family owned and operated Flory's Cottages and Camping where her vibrant spirit and charm touched all with whom she came in contact. Shelly was also a managing partner in S & S Excavating Services where her commitment to excellence and leadership shined just as brightly.

Shelly's creativity knew no bounds, and she found great joy in crafting, making elegant wreaths and collecting antiques. Yet the true nature of her spirit was seen in her unwavering commitment to helping others. Whether family, a friend, or a complete stranger, her selfless nature and kind heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

A celebration of Shelly’s life will take place on Friday, September 11th at 11 am at First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, 101 S. Decatur St, Strasburg, PA 17579, with The Rev. Robert K. Bronkema officiating. Her family will greet friends on Friday from 10 to 11 am at the church. A viewing will take place from 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, September 10th at Bachman Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 7 S. Decatur St, Strasburg, PA. Private interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank Richie, Nick, Cathy and Greg for their unwavering support and love. Special thanks are also extended to Casi, Sabrina, Sarah, Carly, Adam (Tyler), Kiera, and the entire team of earthbound angels on 5 Lime. Your compassionate care and dedication embody the true spirit of nursing, and we are eternally grateful for excellent care and unyielding kindness.
