Shelby J. "Chub" Condida

Shelby J. "Chub" Condida, 88, of Manheim, passed away peacefully at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy, on Saturday, July 4, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Born in Ortana, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Kent Shuyler. Shelby was the loving wife of Paul W. Condida Sr. and they would have observed their 69th wedding anniversary this coming September. She was a faithful member of Lititz Moravian Church. After school, she took a job with Lucky Leaf Foods, then transitioning to Bickel's Snacks before becoming a devoted homemaker. As a homemaker, there was nothing more that Shelby loved than caring for her family. She was an avid word search puzzler and found solace in camping. She also found time for bowling and was an avid collector of both angels and baby Yoda's. Hosting holidays was a favorite of Shelby's, and she could often be found listening to Willie Nelson and the Gather Brothers.

Surviving in addition to her beloved husband, Paul, are six children, Kathy Hurst, Denise wife of Kevin O'Brassill, Dawn wife of Jeff Todd, Linda Mazza, Paul Jr. "Sam" husband of Sandra Condida, Cindy wife of Dave Farmer, 16 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren. Preceding her in passing are two sons, David Condida, Mickey Cotto, a son-in-law, Donald R. Hurst and 8 siblings.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service for Shelby at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 3:00 M. There will be a viewing and time of visitation with the family from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will be private. Those desiring may send memorial contributions in Shelby's memory to, The American Heart Association.
