Sharyn D. Deater

Sharyn D. Deater, 79, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2026. Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Viola (Adams) Miller. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond W. Deater, Jr.

Sharyn was a devoted member of Trinity Lititz Church. She had a deep love for her hometown of Lititz and especially enjoyed decorating her home, collecting antiques, and keeping up with fashion. For more than 30 years, she worked at the gate of the Polo Club, where she became a familiar and friendly face to many. She also generously volunteered her time at the Lititz Visitor Center, sharing her enthusiasm for the community she loved so much.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammie Stark, wife of Alan, of Denver, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Denton, Randy, and Gilles Miller.

Interment will be private in Brownstown Evangelical Cemetery.
