Sharon Lynne Hecker

Sharon Lynne Hecker, 65, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at WellSpan Ephrata Hospital.

Born in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Elsie (Santacroce) Rhodes. She was the loving wife of Steven M. Hecker.

Sharon had a creative heart and found joy in collecting and making trinkets. She had a deep appreciation for music, especially listening to BTS. Sharon was also a lifelong animal lover and always had pets who were part of her family. Known for her quick wit and sense of humor, Sharon had a way of making others smile and laugh, even on difficult days. She was feisty and stubborn with those she loved most, but that same strong spirit reflected how deeply she cared. At her core, she was a good and loving woman. Sharon enjoyed going on vacations, but nothing meant more to her than her family. She cherished the time spent with them and held those moments close to her heart.

She is survived by her husband, Steven; her children, Melissa (Gregory) Rice, Amanda (Marcus) Johnson, Misty Nieves, and Michael (Zoe Stirling) Hecker; her siblings, Victor Santacroce, Kenneth (Terri) Rhodes, and Robin (Richard) Avila; and her grandchildren, Gregory, Jason, Darrian, and Adin.

Services are being held privately at the request of the family.
