Sandra Lee "Sandy" Myers

Sandra Lee “Sandy” Myers, 83, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Bernice (Norquest) Hatton. She was married to Gary R. Myers until his passing in 2014.

Sandy was a graduate of Solanco High School. She owned and operated Myers’ Autobody and Service Center with her family for nearly 40 years. Sandy had a true passion for bowling and participated, coached, and organized leagues and tournaments throughout the county and the state for over 60 years. She was inducted into the USBC and ABC Bowling Halls of Fame. She also earned many awards and served in several officership roles in the bowling community. She was a huge Phillies fan, and also enjoyed watching her granddaughter Amanda play softball, and loved seeing her other granddaughter Kristen dance on stage. She was an avid supporter of their activities. Sandy was outgoing and had a larger-than-life personality and will be sorely missed by all.

Sandy is survived by her 2 sons: Scott Herr (Margi) and Doug Herr (Debbie); 3 stepdaughters: Sheila Healey (Tod), Melanie Moyer (Randy), and Kimberly Myers (Jason); 3 sisters: Bev Aument (Pat), Deb Aument (Mike), and Patty Ann Good; as well as 8 beloved grandchildren. She was loved by many and will never disappear from the memories of those who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. The family will receive guests beginning at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Sandy’s name to Water Street Mission, 210 S Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603.
