Roselyn Marie Long, affectionately known as “Roz” and “Mama Ayers”, at 63 years old, went to be with the Lord on April 7th, 2026. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on May 5th, 1962. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose Mary (Roland) Long. And Mother to Breana Morrison and Alyssa Ayers.

Growing up in Lancaster, Roselyn attended and graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School and then attended Art school in Lancaster where she graduated with a bachelors in Art. Roselyn worked as a graphic designer at The Art Printing company in Columbia for 22 years.

Roselyn gave her life to the Lord in her late 20’s. She attended Church of the Word International where she faithfully made the church bulletin for 15 plus years and led a PowerPoint team for the worship service. Her Church family was a big part of her life and she loved everyone there.

Roselyn cherished spending time with her family and he was a very present mother and grandmother. She loved traveling, playing games, camping, taking care of her goats and chickens, decorating her house for every season and hosting bonfires for friends and family. Roselyn loved music, the ocean, and a good coffee on the front porch swing with her dog, Titan.

Roselyn is survived by her children: Breana Leigh (Ayers) Morrison and Alyssa Jean Ayers. A son in law, Nathan David Morrison. One grandchild: Cayde Isaiah Morrison. Three siblings: Theresa McKimm, Mike Long, Jeff Long.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Roselyn’s Celebration of Life at her residence this Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at 10:30am with Pastor Sydney Ropp officiating.

ATTIRE: Roselyn loved bright colors! In honor of her loving bright colors, attire is casual and colorful.

PARKING: we are asking that you park across the street at The Worship Center and walk across to her residence. We also ask that you bring your own lawn chair as the service will be held in the backyard where she loved to spend time. Food, refreshments and outdoor games will be provided after the service.

In lieu of flowers we ask that a donation be made to Gentle Giants Horse Rescue in Howard County Maryland in Roselyn’s name.
