Robert S. Nickey Jr.

Robert S. Nickey Jr., 91, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026. Born in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Robert Nickey Sr. and Beulah (Shaffer) Nickey.He was also the devoted husband to Rajean B. Nickey for 60 years.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from New York University. Bob spent 40 years as an engineer for Armstrong World Industries until his retirement in 2000. Outside of work, he enjoyed wood turning and playing tennis. He was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster, and a member of both the Lancaster Tennis & Yacht Club and the Susquehanna Woodturners in Harrisburg.

Bob is survived by his brother Edwin Nickey and his children, Patrice (Ed) Foulke of Lancaster, Robert (Kathleen) Nickey of Gettysburg, Sarah (Dan) Longenderfer of Lititz, Jonathan (Angie) Nickey of Englewood, FL, and Dan (Julie) Nickey of Cedar Falls, IA; 18 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
