Robert M. Mannell (Bob) peacefully passed away on August 20, 2026, at Brethren Village in Lititz, PA. He was 93 years old.
Bob was born and raised in New York City. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. His family later relocated to Iselin, NJ, where he met his wife, Fran. They raised their family in Iselin before retiring to Vermont in 1995 and later relocating to Lancaster, PA, in 2016.
Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife, Fran (Cooper) Mannell; his parents, Vincent and Mary (Smar) Mannell; and his brothers, Vincent and his wife Harriet, John and his wife Claire, and Kenny and his wife Jean.
He is survived by his daughter Robyn Powers and her husband, Bob, of Lancaster, PA; his daughter Cheryl Schneider and her husband, Ed, of Iselin, NJ; his granddaughters, Dr. Alissa Schneider of Lancaster, PA, and Dr. Danielle Maley and her husband, Sean, of Pottstown, PA; and his grandson, Zackary Schneider and his wife, Ashley, of Fords, NJ.
Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Back in the day, he loved weekends at his property in Upstate New York, Sunday dinners at his in-laws' farm, and vacations in Lake George, NY. He rooted for his Yankees and was an avid football fan.
His greatest joy was being a "Pop Pop" and having his grandkids come to visit him in Vermont and later in Lancaster. He enjoyed his bagels and pizza and getting special donuts for the grandkids. He always had a "5 Star" movie waiting to watch.
Later, at Brethren Village, he enjoyed Bingo, movie afternoons, church services, puzzles, and his snacks. He was always quick to share his favorite peanut butter pretzels with everyone.
When asked how his day was, Bob would always say, "Every day is a good day."
