Robert T. "Bob" Hunt

Robert T. “Bob” Hunt, 88, of Willow Valley passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

He was the loving husband of Patricia (Carrigan) Hunt. They were married for 52 years.

Bob was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA.

Though many corporate transfers took him to live in different cities over the years, he remained loyal to all things Pittsburgh.

A graduate of Westminster College, Bob continued his education at Pitt and at Towson Universities. During his career, Bob worked for the Commercial Division of Scott Paper Company for over 30 years. While at Scott Paper he received a Management degree from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. He was a Vice President in both Sales and Marketing positions and was the original founder of Scott’s DIY Division.

Bob was an avid racket sports enthusiast (Tennis/Racquetball/Pickleball and Table Tennis). He also enjoyed being out on any lake and fishing.

Bob served as both a Deacon and an Elder in the Presbyterian church. He volunteered at the church’s food bank for 25 years and worked on projects for Habitat for Humanity. He also shared his years of experience by teaching an Adult Education Business class at Delaware Community College during his early retirement years.

Bob will be missed terribly by his family and his many longtime friends for his big, loving heart and his wonderful wit and wisdom.

A Memorial Service is planned for September 16th at 11AM at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584.
