Robert T. “Bob” Hunt, 88, of Willow Valley passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026. Bob was the loving husband of Patricia Ellen (Carrigan) Hunt. They were married for 50 years.
Bob was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and through many corporate transfers he still remained loyal to all things Pittsburgh.
A graduate of Westminster College, Bob continued his education at Pitt and Towson Universities and received an Advanced Management degree from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. Bob worked for the Commercial Division of Scott Paper Co. for over 30 years. He was a Vice President of both sales and marketing and was the founder of Scott’s Do It Yourself Division.
Bob was an avid racket sports enthusiast (tennis/racket ball/pickleball and table tennis). He also enjoyed a day on the lake fishing.
Bob served as both a deacon and an elder in the Presbyterian church. He volunteered at the church’s food bank for 25 years, participated with Habitat for Humanity and taught an adult business class at Delaware Community College.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Tom and grandson, Colin.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home and Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584.
