Robert H Ford

Robert Ford, 98, of Lancaster passed away on May 1, 2026. Born in Spokane WA, he was the son of the late John and Mildred Ford.

Robert proudly served in the US Army during WWII. When he returned home, he earned a BA in Business and worked in insurance for around 37 years before retiring as a vice president.

Robert enjoyed HAM radio, woodcarving and photography.

Along with his parents, he is preceded by his wife Esther A. Ford whom he spent 72 years of marriage with before her passing in 2020. He is survived by his son James Ford of Lancaster PA.

Robert will be laid to rest alongside his wife at Bohem's United Methodist Cemetery.
