Robert E. Frey

Robert E. Frey, 94, of Lititz, passed away on October 20, 2026 at Hershey Medical Center.

He was the husband of the late Ethel Frey, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage this past November 26th. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Edna (Mitchell) and Elwood Frey.

Robert had worked for the Alcoa Corp for 30 years as a Production Planner. Prior to retirement he worked in real estate with Beck and was also employed by Manheim Auto Auction for 12 years. He volunteered with Meals on Wheels. In his free time he enjoyed collecting stamps and also owned and operated Frey’s Hobby Shop.

He is survived by his children Lori L. Brandt companion of Doug Sensenich of Mount Joy, Michael W. Frey married to Lorna of Lititz and David T. Frey married to Kathleen of Lititz; his stepchildren: Timothy Irwin of Northeast, MD and Lauren Flores wife of Chris of CA; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and his brother George “Chip” Frey. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his son Rick Frey. 

A private inurnment with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
