Robert D. "Bob" Kauffman Jr.

Robert D. "Bob" Kauffman Jr., age 79, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 5, 2026. Born in Lititz, PA, he was the son of the late Robert D. Kauffman, Sr. and Betty (Frey) Kauffman. He is survived by his companion of 27 years, Joyce Gurreri of York, his daughter, Selena Caplinger, wife of Mike Caplinger of Lititz, grandsons, Michael Caplinger and Robby Caplinger of Lititz, and his sister, Betsy Herr, of Lititz. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Kauffman III, sister, Bonnie Highfield, and his brother, Rick Kauffman.

Bob graduated from Warwick High School in 1964 and worked many years at Wilbur Chocolate Co. in Lititz. Later he was employed at Harley Davidson in York, from where he retired. His favorite activities were riding his Harley, going to the mountains to camp, fish and relax, and laughing with friends and family. He was kind to everyone and loved attending Living World Community Church where he was involved in growth groups and charitable projects.

Bob's family wishes to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff at Moravian Manor who took excellent care of him during his last 6 years.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later time.
