Richard M. Paulukow, 80, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully at his residence on May 3, 2026. Born on May 24, 1945, in Germany, Richard was the son of the late Nicholai Paulukow and Marie (Stryk) Paulukow.
He came to the United States in 1950 and was the first of his family to settle here. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was awarded the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one bronze star, and the Republic of Vietnam Medal.
He dedicated many years of his career to Spring Glen Fresh Foods, where he worked as a purchasing manager. He was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment. A man of deep faith, Richard was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, where his beliefs guided him throughout his life. He was also a proud member of the Red Rose Honor Guard.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Paulukow; his children, Amy Rubino (Peter) and Nicholas Paulukow (Becky); and his grandchildren, Logan, Ethan, Grace, Owen, Emily, and Joseph.
He is also survived by his siblings, Christina Sessoms, Theresa Topper, Elizabeth Paulukow, and John Paulukow.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Richard will be laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
