Richard Allen Cashdollar

Richard “Rick” Allen Cashdollar, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and skilled craftsman, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, at the age of 82. Born in Sharon, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ruth (Kloss) Cashdollar. Rick dedicated his career to the steel industry, working at High Steel Structures LLC for 37 ½ years. His craftsmanship extended beyond steel; he was an avid woodworker who took great pride in creating beautiful pieces.

Rick was an enthusiastic (and #1) fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, often seen cheering on his team with a spirit that mirrored the passion he had for life. He cherished family gatherings, especially those spent with his grandchildren and being in the outdoors, going camping. When indoors, one of his favorite games was playing Mexican Train Dominoes.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Braungard Cashdollar; his children: Kimberly Dilling, partner of Tracey Dilling, and Steven Cashdollar, husband of Jaymie, and their children: Nicolas, Bennett, Nathan and Eve as well as 4 nieces and 2 nephews.

In addition to his parents, Rick is preceded in death by his 2 sisters: Nancy Nottingham and Maryanne Bish as well as 2 nephews.
