Raymond Haines

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Haines, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Born on April 4, 1966, in Brooklyn, NY, Ray dedicated his life to family, community, and his love of cars, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and passion.

Ray was a devoted parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, where he found solace in his faith and camaraderie with fellow parishioners. Ray was a self-employed sales specialist in the online merchandise industry, using his ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit to provide for his family.

An expert auto mechanic, Ray found great joy in working on cars, particularly in painting and completing body work. His love for Cadillacs was renowned among his friends and family, a testament to his appreciation for craftsmanship and detail.

Above all, Ray loved his family deeply. He is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte Haines; his daughter, Rachel Gonner, and son-in-law, Andrew Gonner; and sons, Daniel Haines, Aaron Lawrence, and Matthew Haines; Ray's pride and joy was his granddaughter, Lavana Haines, who lit up his world with laughter and love. He is also survived by his brothers Richard, Jr., fiance of Deborah Maisano, Robert, husband of Cheryl, John, and Thomas Haines, and sister Virginia Bednarek. Raymond was preceded in death by: his parents, Richard, Sr. and Adelle Haines and his brother, Michael Haines.

In honor of Ray's wishes, his viewing will be held from 6PM to 8PM, Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA.
