Philip Lightner

Philip Lightner,79, formally of Florida, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026. He was the son of the late Albert and Hilda Lightner. He was married to Nancy Kay Lightner for 32 years before her passing in 2013.

Philip spent most of his career as a photographer. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, hunting and the breakfast outings with his buddies. He will be remembered for having a great sense of humor by his friends and family

He is survived by his sister-in law Dorothy Lightner; niece, Karen Loose (John) and niece- in law Carolyn Lightner, along with his great nieces and nephews; Bradley Lightner, Rachel Lightner, William Lightner, Kelly Loose, Jessica Kitsock, Kristen Stull, and Jake Loose. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lightner I, and nephew, Michael Lightner II.

Family and friends are invited to gather together to celebrate Philip's life on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, 17543. Visitation will be from 4-5pm. with a service to follow at 5pm. Philip will be laid to rest alongside his wife Nancy, at Prospect Hill Cemetery in York PA.
