Patricia "Pat" A. Amodeo, 77, of Lititz, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Woodbury, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Ruth (Shelton) and Alfred Pierson. Pat was the beloved wife and best friend of John Amodeo, with whom she shared more than 57 years of marriage—a partnership built on love, devotion, and unwavering support.
Pat dedicated much of her professional life to serving her community. Prior to retirement, she worked as a bookkeeper for Landis Valley Museum. She also held positions with the Lancaster County Library and New Jersey Bell Telephone, served as a Vice President of her CWA Local Union, and worked as a realtor. In every role, she brought dedication, warmth, and a strong work ethic.
Pat was the heart of the family, making every day special and filling holidays and occasions with joy. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and a good murder mystery. She had a special love for her pets, including Lenny, Louie, Sammy, and Pasquale. Pat was especially generous and kind to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Above all, she loved being the very best Mom to her daughters. Irreplaceable in every way, this world was blessed to have such a lovely, selfless, and compassionate person.
In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by her daughters: Andrea Amodeo of Maryland, and Gabrielle Amodeo Ream, wife of Jeremy, of Hellam. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am ET on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received from 10am to 11am ET.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s memory to Hospice & Community Care or St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
