Pamela Jean Hugo, 79, of Lititz, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on October 28, 2026. Born in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie (Shipley) Miller. She was married 52 years to her beloved husband Dale E. Hugo.
Pam was a devoted mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, and the heart of her family. Her greatest joy was caring for those she loved and creating memories that would last a lifetime. Throughout her working years, she was employed at Weis Markets, worked as a bookkeeper for Plumrose in New Jersey, and served as a waitress at Taco Tico. A talented baker and creative soul, she loved decorating elaborate cakes, cross-stitching, dancing, and watching old movies, especially those starring her beloved Clark Gable. She enjoyed playing cards and games and was never one to shy away from a little friendly competition. Christmas held a special place in her heart. Every year, she carried on cherished traditions, baking cookies with her granddaughters and making piñatas for the children, filling the holidays with laughter, love, and wonder. These traditions became treasured memories that her family will carry in their hearts forever.
In addition to Dale, Pam is survived by son Victor Hill (Wendy) and daughter Jeanne Snader (Paul), stepdaughter Lynna Marr (Matt Furze); grandchildren: Paul Snader, Jr. (Jessica Shultz), Kyrstin Payton (Chris), Ashley Erickson (Justin), Mitchell Hill (Kayla), David Snader, Emily Tran, and Brenton Tran; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Paul III, Madison, Lilah, Gabriel, Brielle, and Harper; sister Linda Roberts (Bryan), and a host of beloved extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Anne Marie Hill, sister Jane Jacobs, and brother Thomas Miller, Jr.
The family will receive guests from 1-2 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Spacht-Snyder Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 127 S. Broad St, Lititz, PA 17543. A service will begin at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Ephrata. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Pam's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
