Neil D. Beberman

Neil D. Beberman, age 85, of Lancaster, entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 19, 2026, following a brief illness, less than two months after the passing of his beloved wife of more than 40 years, Kathleen “Kathy” Beberman. Born in May 1941 in the Bronx, New York, Neil was the son of Karl and Evelyn (Edelman) Beberman.

Neil attended C.W. Post College before proudly serving his country in the United States Army from 1961 to 1966.

Neil spent more than 35 years in the restaurant and hotel industry, building a career in hospitality that reflected his natural ability to connect with people and make them feel welcome. He later brought that same spirit of service to a new chapter in his life when he and Kathy entered the health insurance business together.

For 27 years, Neil and Kathy worked side by side at The Heart Agency, a name that could not have been more fitting. It reflected not only the tremendous love they shared with one another but also the genuine care and compassion they extended to the many people they served over the years. For Neil and Kathy, their work was about far more than insurance; it was about people, relationships, and helping others when they needed it most.

Neil and Kathy were truly inseparable and were known by family and friends for their extraordinary bond. They could often be found holding hands—even while sitting together at the dinner table. Their deep love and devotion to one another remained at the center of their lives throughout their more than four decades together.

In his leisure time, Neil enjoyed golfing and painting and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan.

Neil is survived by his sons, Perry Beberman, husband of Tracey, of Pennsylvania, and Andrew Graef of Washington; his stepsons, Daniel McGuinnes, husband of Jaci, of New Jersey, and Ryan McGuinnes of Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Evelyn Beberman, and by his beloved wife, Kathy.

A private graveside service will be held at Conestoga Memorial Park.
