Natividad "Nancy" Cosenza

Natividad "Nancy" Cosenza, 68, of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2026. Born on December 30, 1957 in New York to the late Juan and Margarita Matos.

Nancy had many unique gifts. She loved decorating her home, upholstering, sewing, jewelry making and many other designing projects. She also loved music and dancing and watching movies.

Nancy was a graduate of Hoboken High School in New Jersey and attended Kingsborough College in New York. She worked for the School District of Lancaster as a Teaching Assistant where she earned various educational certificates. She held various positions including child care and really found joy in her latest position with Discovery Corner Academy at First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons: Jason E. Spaulding of Lancaster and Donald A. Cosenza (wife Natasha) of Maryland; two grandchildren: Jason D. Spaulding and Jaylene C. Spaulding; three siblings: Carmen M. Potts, of Lancaster, Juan A. Matos (wife Mariela) of New Jersey, and Yolanda Matos Jackson (husband Charles) of Lancaster; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her niece Christina Joyce Colon, and various other relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster PA, on Friday, September 18, 2026. Greetings will be from 11:00-12:00 noon and service from 12:00-1:00 pm.
