Nancy J. Benner

Nancy J. Benner, 90, passed away at Lebanon Skilled Nursing, Tuesday, October 6, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Jane (Gallagher) Haubert and was a longtime Ephrata resident. Nancy was the loving wife of Edward E. Benner, who preceded her in death in 2013.

A devout Christian, she was a member of Mountain Rock Church of Christ in Hershey. Nancy enjoyed riding the Red Rose bus to Walmart where she would shop. She loved to go for walks, going to the bank, and dancing to music. Pepsi and Pringles were her go to snacks.

She is survived by her son, Donald Caldwell, husband of Christine, of San Diego, CA; her grandson, Sean Caldwell; and Thara Ramirez, of Lancaster, who was like a daughter, and helped care for Nancy for many years.

Memorial Services for Nancy will be announced at a later date. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Edward, at Landis Valley Mennonite Cemetery.
