Moises Torres, 64, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Moises and Josephine Torres. He was the husband of Ana Figueroa.

Moises was employed by Tyson Foods. He was a lovable person. Moises was a great husband, father, and grand father. He enjoyed fixing cars.

Surviving in addition to his wife Ana are 2 sons; Jorge Torres and Moises Torres Jr., 2 daughters; Johanna Torres and Ana Figueroa, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and 7 brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 1, 2008 at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church 425 S. Duke St. at 10 a.m. with Rev. Allen Wolfe as celebrant. Friends will be received Thursday, July 31  at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home 414 E. King St. Lancaster 17602 from 6-8 p.m. and again on Friday at the church from 9-10 a.m. Interment will be at Mellingers Mennonite Cemetery.
