Mildred T. Walters

Mildred T. Walters, 101, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on August 4, 2026 at Landis Homes Retirement Community.

She was the wife of the late John K. Walters, who passed away in 2015. Born in Johnstown, Cambria County, Mildred was the daughter of the late Louis and Barbara Kohler.

She had worked in production for Grafic Crafts for 15 years, and had also been a homemaker.

Her Catholic Faith was of great importance to her and she was a devout and long-time member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

She loved to spend time with her family, enjoyed sports, travelled all over the world and was known for her talent at cooking.

Mildred is survived by her son: Richard J. married to Marilyn J. Walters of Lititz; her grandchildren: Amy L. married to John Sauder Jr. of Lititz, and Richard J. II married to Genevieve E. Walters of Naples, FL; her great grandchildren Avery Lynne Sauder and John Patrick Sauder; and her great great grandchildren: Annebelle Walters, Bridgette R. Walters, Eloise S. Walters, and Juliette L. Walters.

Friends will be received by Mildred’s famlily on Sat. August 15, 2026 from 9:30-11AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholc Church 501 East Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 with the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11AM. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Mildred’s memory to St. Anthony Catholic Church at the above address of Landis Homes , 1001 E. Oregon Rd. Lititz, PA 17543.
