Miguel A. "Mike" Laureano Sr.

Miguel A. "Mike" Laureano Sr., 70, of Leola, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2026, at his home. Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico he was the son of Matea, (wife of Samuel Roman) and the late Pedro Laureano. Mike was the loving husband to Maria C. Laureano, and they had just observed their 45th wedding anniversary on October 3rd. For over 25 years Mike worked as a Constable for the surrounding area while simultaneously working for Lancaster General Hospital as security. He also worked for Schaad Detective Agency for a period of time. He was a faithful member of LCBC, Lebanon. Mike was dedicated to his family, especially playing and crafting projects with his grandchildren, attending their sporting events, and simply spending time with them were one of his many favorite times. He enjoyed vacationing, indulging in a good seafood/steak dinner. A fan of action movies and law enforcement TV shows, he also enjoyed watching football and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Mike had a personality that could form a friendship with anyone. His kind demeanor always made others feel at ease when in his presence and they would occasionally encounter one of his famous "Dad Jokes" which will be missed by all.

In addition to his wife, Maria, mother, Matea, her husband, Samuel Roman and his children, Betsaida Laureano and her fiancé Daniel Pantoja and Miguel "Mikey" Jr. husband of Crystal Laureano as well as grandchildren, Brayden, Aria, Daniel and Trinity. Also surviving are his siblings, Miriam Ortega, Ineida Almodovar, Evelyn Muratore, Madelyn Moalam, and Nilda "Mimi" Stem.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service for Mike at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543, on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Those desiring may send memorial contributions in Mike's name to LCBC, Lebanon, (benefiting Children's/Youth Ministry) 925 Walnut St Lebanon PA 17042-5102).
