Michael Rochkind

Michael Rochkind, 93, of Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA passed quietly Thursday, October 22, 2026. He was comforted in his final days by the company of friends and family and the kind, loving care and attention of Evergreen Hospice. In death, he joins his wife of 63 years, Arline, who passed in 2021; and his daughter, Leslie Brooke Chapman, whom we lost too early, in 1997.

He is survived by his son David of Wenonah, New Jersey, and his wife Sherry Hausman. Michael had two grandchildren, Michelle Rochkind of Philadelphia and Alan Rochkind, his wife Michele and son Cameron living in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.

Michael and Arline lived at Masonic Village for over 20 years and were proud to call it their home. It's a comfort to his family that Michael could finish his earthly life there.

Michael enjoyed his study of history and current events and was a strong advocate for his peers negotiating the challenges of senior living. He took great pleasure in listening to music and other live entertainments, many of which he shared with his special friend, Mary Lou Tetley.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Sell Chapel at Masonic Village, 200 Freemason Dr, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2:30PM. Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM at the chapel on Friday.
