Michael Anthony Benner

Michael Anthony Benner, 71, of Millersville, PA, passed away on July 30, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Mary (O’Neil) Benner and the late Jere Benner. Michael was the husband of 51 years to Marie (Madonna) Benner.

Michael was a laborer for 30 years with the Armstrong Floor Plant. He was a Detroit Lions #1 fan, watching football games every Sunday with his family. He was an avid fisherman. Michael loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed cannon balling into the pool, which made many great memories for his family.

In addition to his wife, Marie, and mother, Mary, Michael is survived by his sons, Michael Benner husband of Sandra and Duquan Talton; 4 grandchildren: Rachel, Chachi, Matthew and Mikie; 5 great-grandsons; 4 siblings: Elizabeth Rhine wife of Andy, Geraldine Karpinsky, Mark Benner husband of Sandy, and Gayle Wiker wife of Randy; and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Jere Benner.

Friends will be received from 1-3 PM with a Celebration of Michael’s Life to begin at 3 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St, Millersville, PA 17551.
