Maureen A. Lear

Maureen A. Lear, 80, died on Monday, July 20, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her children: Colleen, wife of Michael Borne, and Alison, wife of Josh Whiteside; her grandchildren, Katie and Grace Borne, and Amaya Whiteside; her great granddaughter, Elouise; her sister, Marybeth Linton, wife of Harvey; and a beloved niece, Kim Lear.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Barry; her twin sister, Kathleen; her grandson, James; and sister, Sharon.

After graduating from MU in 1999, Maureen worked for MH/MR and the Office of Aging.

Family and friends will be received for a time of visitation from 10:30AM to 11AM on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. A Prayer Service will follow beginning at 11AM. Burial will be held in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
