Mathew Samuel

Mathew Sanju Samuel "Mat," 49, of Ephrata, PA, passed away at his residence on July 26, 2026.

Born on August 24, 1976, in India, Mat was the son of the Thumpalil Samuel and the late Saramma Samuel. He was a digital art professor at LVC, Kutztown, and PCAD. He was an incredibly talented artist and enjoyed spending his days in his studio being creative.

Along with his father Thumpalil, Mat is survived by his children, Sanjay Samuel, Raya Samuel, and Nahla Samuel.

Mat will be remembered for his artistic spirit, kind heart, dedication to education, and the meaningful impact he made on his family, friends, colleagues, and students.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA, 17543, at 4pm. A time of greeting will be held prior from 2 to 4pm.
