Mary B Geiger

Mary Raubenhold Bond Geiger, 88, went to Heaven on July 25th at Lancaster General Hospital, after a brief illness.

Mary was the daughter of Ralph Bond and Harvene Bond Moyer, born in Reading, PA on September 15, 1937. She was raised in Hamburg, PA and was a graduate of Hamburg High School, Class of 1955 as well as Kutztown State Teachers college (now Kutztown University), class of 1959.

Following graduation, Mary was a devoted teacher in the Conestoga Valley School District for 32 years. In addition to her service in education, Mary was a devoted wife of William H. Geiger, Jr. for 55 years until his death in April 2017. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary has joined her daughter Lisa Sue Keath in Heaven.

Mary is survived and will be remembered by a vast and loving network of family and friends, most notably her daughters Lori Rainey (wife of Daniel) and Linda Fleth (wife of Ed). Her family grew substantially over the years to include 10 grandchildren; Jessica, Kyle, Joshua, Nathan, Hannah, Holly, Isaac, Austin, Heather, and Alanna) and 8 great-grandchildren; Gabriel, Mateo, Zeke, Rico, Samuel, Enzo, Camila, and Bennett.

In addition to Mary's duties as the matriarch of the Geiger family, she was a devoted member of Grace Brethren Church of Lititz and was well known for her fierce faith and devotion in Christ. She loved music, played piano from the age of 5, and loved to sing in choirs.

A funeral service will be held Saturday August 1, 2026, at 11am at Grace Brethren Church, 501 W. Lincoln Ave., Lititz, PA 17543. Friends and Family will be received from 10 to 11am. Mary will be laid to rest alongside her husband William following service at Longenecker Cemetery.
