Mary Elizabeth Snyder

Mary E. Snyder, 86, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at her home. Born in Quarryville, she was the beloved daughter of the late James and Cora Baldwin Shank. After graduation, Mary worked at Hamilton watch before working as an inspector for Specialty Screw Machine Products for some time. She was devoted to her family and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was an avid painter and even better cook. Her Macaroni and potato salad, homemade BBQ sauce and peanut butter eggs were always the family's favorite to look forward to at get togethers. She could often be found listening to 50's and 60's music.

Surviving are three children, Paul husband of Cindy Watson, Connie Watson, Cora Kennedy as well as 13 grandchildren, and numerous grand and great greatgrandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Hattie Keen. Preceding her in passing is her daughter, Marie Malark and a brother, James Shank.
