Marion E. Decker

Marion E. Decker, 87, of Willow Street PA and formerly of Plainfield NJ, passed away on May 1, 2026 at Willow Valley Lakes in Willow Street PA.

Born in Plainfield, NJ she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Hilda Sigmund Decker.

Marion was a Registered Nurse and had a 42 year career in Nursing that she retired from in 2001. She had worked at Muhlenburg Regional Medical Center for 20 years total of which 10 years was as head nurse, and served for 4 years as the hospital's Infectious Control Coordinator. She was a founding member of the NJ Hospital Employee Health Nurse Assn. and trained and took exams to be a Certified Infection Control Nurse. Marion is survived by her best friend of 60 plus years Marie Edwards of Willow Street , PA, her sister Carolyn married to Frank Sabatino of Parlin, NJ, her nephews Frank married to Gina Gagliano , Robert J. Marshburn, Frankie married to Heather Gagliano, and nieces Cheryl Forziati and friend Ron Cordero, Brittany married to Mike Murray, and Heather Forziati married to Dominic Bolognese, and Dr. Erica Marshburn.

Burial services will be private, but a memorial service and lunch will be Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11AM at Grace Church of Willow Valley at the address below.
