Marianne Windle

Marianne Windle, 63, of New Providence, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Lancaster in 1962, Marianne was the daughter of Janet (Shetter) Williams and the late Robert Williams, Sr.

Marianne dedicated 15 years of service as an administrator with the East Lampeter Township Police Department. She also worked as a cashier at E.M. Herr Ace Hardware, where she was beloved by her coworkers and customers alike for her kindness, warmth, and friendly spirit.

Beyond her career, she found her greatest joy in her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose love, warmth, and strength touched everyone around her. She cherished time spent crafting, adored dolphins, and created countless memories with those she loved most.

In addition to her father, Marianne was preceded in death by her husband, John Windle III; her brothers, Robert Williams Jr. and Jeffery Williams Sr.; and her sister, Janice Hughes.

She is survived by her mother, Janet Williams; her sons, Sean Windle (Abby) and Rob Mazzeo; and her beloved granddaughter, Savannah Windle. Marianne would have been overjoyed to welcome her second granddaughter, Hazel. She is also survived by her sisters, Stephanie Heinzman and Kim Trauger, as well as many loving nieces and nephews with whom she shared a special bond.

A Celebration of Marianne’s life is currently being planned, and service details will be announced at a later date.
