Lynda Louise Getchis

Lynda Louise Getchis, 83, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on March 25, 2026 at Providence Place Senior Living. Born in Alexandria, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Louise Mangold. Lynda was the loving wife of 63 years to Randolph Getchis.

A religious woman, Lynda’s faith was very important to her. Lynda did a lot of volunteer work for Security on Campus. She was on a bowling team, played tennis, belly danced in her younger years and loved to garden.

In addition to Lynda’s husband, Randolph, she is survived by her children: Randolph “Randy” Getchis, Jr., Ronald “Ron” Getchis and Cindy Hugney; and 7 grandchildren: Avian, Colin, Jarred, Brandon, Xander, Caitlyn and Ryder.

A viewing will take place from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11 AM on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Charles F. Snyder, III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. Lynda will be laid to rest at Conestoga Memorial Park.
