Lester H. Neff

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lester H. Neff, who departed this life to his heavenly home on June 11, 2026. Les lived in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania his entire life and built a deep network of family, friends and church community.

Lester was a loving husband to Joanne (Siegrist) Neff for 61 years. Together, they shared a life full of love and service to God and others. Les's gentle spirit resonated with all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Les loved spending time with his kids and six grandchildren - from the annual family vacations to watching their countless soccer, baseball, softball and tennis matches. He played in a tennis league for more than 40 years, loved to read, and always cheered for the Phillies and Eagles.

Serving the Body of Christ brought him much joy. He was a familiar face at Calvary Church where he and Joanne have attended for 30 years and where he served in many capacities, from deacon and usher to the hospitality team and children's ministry.

Les loved his career in the furniture industry, dedicating more than 56 years in various sales and buying roles, including VP of Buying for Good's Furniture to time on the road as a manufacturer's rep with England Furniture. He and Joanne built decades of friendships, accomplishments and work experiences with the wonderful people of the industry. After retirement from the furniture industry, Les worked part time for Keller Brothers Ford.

Les will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Joanne (Siegrist) Neff, and their daughter, Tonya Klause (Loudoun County, VA), wife of Robert Klause and their children, Graham and Maria; as well as their son Tim Neff (Elizabethtown, PA), husband of Kimberly, and their children, Olivia, Mitchell, Elizabeth and Eli; a step sister Sally Witmer, wife of Jim Witmer; sister-in-law Norma Jean Neff; step sister-in-law Annetta Good; and step brother-in-law Dan Baker. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Lester H. Neff, Naomi Neff Good and step-father Jacob Good; brother James Larry Neff, and step siblings Richard Good, Mary Ann Lafferty, and Polly Baker. He will also be missed by his wife's siblings as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Les's life will be held on Monday, June 29th at 5 pm at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Rd. Lancaster. The family will greet guests from 4 pm - 5 pm. Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions can be made to Calvary Church or Samaritans Purse.
