Laurie N. Little, 77, of Willow Valley Communities, passed away on March 13, 2026, after a long battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, which she faced with grace, dignity, and determination. Born in Palo Alto, CA to Herb Navis and Marilyn Clow. Laurie graduated with honors from Yavapai College and Arizona State University.
Laurie had a distinguished career with International Paper Co., where she became one of the company’s first female executives. She was an accomplished equestrian specializing in jumping, winning numerous ribbons in competition. An avid golfer, her trophies reflected her competitive spirit and dedication. Her leadership was also evident at Willow Valley Communities, where she served as chairman of the Community Council and the Camera Club.
Laurie enjoyed family and friends, photography, nature, travel, walks, politics, good food and coffee, reading, and games on her iPad. Organized and independent, she lived with determination and a strong moral compass. Her courage, generosity, and thoughtful spirit were an inspiration to many.
Laurie is survived by her husband, John D. Little, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage; her stepson, John W. Little, and his wife Stacey; stepson James D. Little; granddaughter Jayme L. Little; and sister-in-law Terri Yachter. It is impossible to think of Laurie without remembering Tux, her dog, and her beloved cats.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 10AM to 11AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 2421Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA. 17584 with a service to begin at 11AM. Burial will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the later date.
