Kristie S. Arment, 65, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 6, 2026. She celebrated 45 years of marriage to her loving husband Michael L. Arment on January 3 this year.
Born in Lancaster in 1961, she was a daughter of Kay S. (Keenen) and the late Raleigh F. See.
Kristie graduated from Conestoga Valley High School class of 1979 followed by Saint Joseph Hospital School of Radiologic Technologists. She went on to pursue a career as a Radiology Technician, prompted by the love her father had for going to his radiation treatments. She was first employed by Saint Joseph's Hospital as an x-ray tech then as an MRI Technologist at Health South and the MRI Group where she retired from in 2024.
She loved her church family and the time spent at Community United Methodist Church, Lancaster. She taught and attended Sunday School, organized Vacation Bible School and helped host ice cream socials in the parking lot. She was a Red Cross CPR Instructor for many years. She always looked forward to family vacations and especially loved the time she spent in Fort Myers, Florida. She enjoyed many hobbies, including golfing, watching sports, reading, skiing, and fishing. Most of all, she cherished her friends and family; and this was evident in how she cared for them and in turn they cared for her.
Surviving Kristie, in addition to her mother and husband, are her two daughters, Jenna Arment (Anna Lontz), and Kendall Arment; her adorable granddaughter, Scottie Lontz Arment; her lovable granddog, Utley; and her three brothers, Jeffrey See (Audrey), Michael See (Karen), and Richard See. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandmothers, Reba Horst and Anna See.
Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Saturday, June 13 after 10:30 a.m. in Community United Methodist Church, 130 Tennyson Dr., Lancaster, PA 17602 where her funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be held privately for her family in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Kristie may be made to The Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute.
