Kristi Ann Chessler

Kristi Ann Chessler, 61, formerly of New York, unexpectedly passed away on February 11, 2026. Born on March 5, 1964, in Plainview, New York, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Carol Louise (Von Werne) Mendozza.

Kristi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Lehigh University. She built a career in customer service and had most recently been employed with J.J. Stannis for over ten years.

Kristi loved sewing, especially making purses and wristlets, along with other arts and crafts, a love she often shared with her daughter Brittany. She loved gardening both flowers and vegetables and was a wonderful cook. A devoted reader, she enjoyed fantasy and science fiction novels with her favorite series being The Lord of the Rings. She adored Disney, and cherished trips to Hershey with the people she loved.

Above all, Kristi was a strong and fiercely loving mother who shared a close bond with her daughter. She was supportive, encouraging, and deeply devoted to her family. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Dilly.

Kristi is survived by Herb Chessler and their daughter, Brittany Chessler; her brother, Joe Mendozza husband of Megan; and other loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A funeral service will take place Wednesday February 18, 2026, at 4pm at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA. A viewing and time to greet family will be prior to service beginning at 2pm.
