Keith A. Painter

Keith A. Painter, 54, formerly of Lancaster, PA, passed away at his Manchester, York County, PA residence on May 5, 2026. He was born in Lancaster, the son of Emily (Hilworth) Herr of Mount Joy, PA, and the late Ralph Painter.

He graduated from J. P. McCaskey High School and Willow Street Vo-Tech. Keith worked for Frey Lutz for 20 years and then at James Craft & Sons, Inc. for the last 15 years as a sheet metal foreman, where he enjoyed his work.

Keith loved boating on the Delaware Bay and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He was a loving father to his son Travis A. Painter of Cherry Tree, PA, and stepfather to Austin Painter of Northern Cambria, PA. In addition to his mother, son, and stepson, Keith’s family includes three grandchildren, Julionna Painter, Iyanna Painter, and Wrenley Painter, his sister, Tracy Carrero of New Jersey, his brother Tim Painter of Lancaster, PA, his stepbrother Kenny Herr of Lancaster, PA, several nieces and nephews, and his former wife, Marie Dabella of Cherry Tree, PA.

Keith’s family will greet friends from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz, Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be private.
