Karen Lee Kieffer

Karen Lee Nates Kieffer, 74, of Statesville, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

She was born on July 6, 1951 in Massachusetts, to the late Ervin and Catherine Goodrow Nates. Mrs. Kieffer was a graduate of Revere High School. She was a really good cook, enjoyed crafts, reading and studying the Bible, and going to the beach. Mrs. Kieffer had a very giving heart and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Reginald "Reggie" Kieffer; children, Andrea Beth Kolb and husband, Hichem, Eric A. Freisinger and wife, Dana; grandchildren, Haley Marie Kolb, Meah and Ari Freisinger; and brother, Dan Nates.

Karen's family will have a celebration of her life in Lititz, PA in the near future.
