Judith A. Faulkner

Judith A. Faulkner, 82, of Lancaster, passed away on July 19, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Warren Cook and Kathryn and James Dunlop. She was also the devoted wife to Walter Faulkner for 60 years.

After receiving her degree in nursing, Judy spent many years in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania as a Registered Nurse. She was also attending Westmont Methodist Church at the time, where she and Walter first met and hit it off. In addition to her role as a nurse, she was also an educator to her children, homeschooling all of them throughout 12th grade while also working as a nurse part-time. In their kids’ early childhoods, Walter and Judy bought a “farmette”, and she loved tending to her animals, which ranged from goats and sheep to cats, dogs, and birds. She also had quite the green thumb, constantly filling their home with houseplants and creating aquascapes in her home aquariums.

Judy is survived by her husband Walter; her sons, Jeff (Sharon) Faulkner and Edward “Ted” (Ashly) Faulkner; her stepbrother James “Jim” Dunlop; and 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her daughter Kathy Faulkner, and brothers Robert “Bob” Dunlop, Bruce Cook, and Ronald Cook.

A funeral service to honor Judy’s life will be held at 3PM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Bachman Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 7 S Decatur St, Strasburg, PA 17579. The family will be receiving guests beginning at 1PM. She will be laid to rest in Little Britain Presbyterian Cemetery following the service.
