Joseph S. Grissinger

Joseph S. Grissinger, 60, of Lancaster, passed away at his residence on May 8, 2026.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Edward and Barbara Axe Grissinger.

Joe had worked for the Ryder Corporation as a tow motor operator for the past year. Previously, he was a surveyor for Rettew Associates and worked at Dart Container as well.

He was a huge football fan, being an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and Commanders. He had bowled in a league at Leisure Lanes and was a member of the Active Club in Lancaster, the American Order of Otters, the Riverside Camping Assn. and the VFW Post 1690, all of which where he played shuffleboard.

Joe is survived by his son, Ryan Grissinger of Lancaster and his brother, Jeffrey Grissinger of Lancaster.

Friends may visit with Joe’s family on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 12 Noon to 230PM at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home and Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA. Interment will follow at Conestoga Memorial Park.
