John Bickford Eshleman, 67, of Denver, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert and Margaret (Reid) Eshleman. He was married 10 years to his beloved wife, Allison Lea (Rogers) Eshleman.
John was a graduate of Manheim Township High School and attended Millersville University. He worked for the USPS as a mail carrier for 31 years until his retirement in 2019. John was a lover of the outdoors and could often be found hiking, running 5Ks, and playing golf. He was a former member of Host Farm Golf Club. Music was an important part of his life. John loved to play the guitar and was a member of the praise band at Allegheny Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was an avid Eagles football and Philadelphia sports fan. He loved people and made everyone feel welcome and cared about. John was thoughtful, kind, outgoing, and friendly, and was loved by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife Allison, John is survived by 3 brothers: Steve, Robert, and Richard Eshleman; 3 step children: Brandon Fake (Jessie), Madilyn Yuengel (Dane), and Christian Fake; 6 grandchildren: Bryn, Laney, Trey, Remy, Sawyer, and Austen; brothers-in-law Drew Rogers (Tonya), Dean Rogers (Sharon), and Doug Rogers (Beth); sister-in-law Audrey Rogers, and mother-in-law Norma Jean Rogers.
The family will receive guests from 6-8 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Allegheny Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1327 Alleghenyville Rd, Mohnton, PA 19540. The family will receive guests from 10 AM until the time of the service.
