It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jesus Trinidad, 77, formerly of Deer Park, New York, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
Born in the Dominican Republic, he was the beloved son of the late Pedrito and Mercedes Trinidad and the youngest of eight children.
Jesus built a life defined by hard work, generosity, and devotion to his family. He spent many years working at the Brooklyn Navy Yard before later becoming a dedicated Taxicab Driver in New York City.
A proud baseball fan, Jesus loved cheering for both the New York Mets and the New York Yankees. His home was often filled with the sounds of classic Spanish music, the aroma of home-cooked meals, and the warmth of family gathered around him. He found joy in tending his garden, relaxing by the pool, and sharing food, stories, and laughter with those he loved.
Jesus is survived by his children, Kenny Trinidad and Nohely Rosario; his grandchildren, Angel Ortiz, Mariana Rosario, Elijah Rosario, Acadia Trinidad, and Ariana Trinidad; and his siblings, Gladys, Nicanor, Humberto, and Silvia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Melvin, Nilda, and Vidal.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a viewing on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 10 to 11am at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A graveside service and interment will follow at at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, 170 Charles Road, Bausman, PA 17504.
