Jane E. Rosar

Jane E. Rosar, 87, of Lititz, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alice Totten. She was the beloved wife of Carl “Richard” Rosar, with whom she shared over 17 years of marriage.

Jane was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. She was a talented and independent businesswoman who owned and operated three gift shops in Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut. She had a love for antiquing and enjoyed spending time cross-stitching and quilting. She also loved flowers, especially violets, and took great pleasure in cooking for those she loved.

Above all, Jane was a wonderful woman who brought love and warmth to those around her. To her husband, Richard, she was his sweetheart and a very special part of his life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband, Richard, Jane is survived by her children, Fran Gote of Lancaster, Gian Giambalvo of Florida, and Nancy Eckert of Akron; her adopted children from her second marriage: Lisa Monte, Sinda Gochenour, Celia Gote, Joseph Gote, Thomas Gote and Mathew Gote; many grandchildren; and her sister, Dawn. She was preceded in death by her siblings.

Burial will be private.
