James L. Saturno

James L. Saturno, 88, of Landisville, PA, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, February 19, 2026, following a 20-year battle with kidney cancer.

Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Emily (Detrick) and James D. Saturno. A graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School, James went on to proudly serve his country as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Prior to his retirement, James spent his entire career as a dedicated furniture salesman with Oblender Furniture.

James enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He loved taking long walks, was an avid reader, and looked forward to visiting the beach—especially Rehoboth Beach, where he found peace by the shore. Above all, he cherished time spent with family and friends. Known affectionately as the “fun uncle,” James was generous with his time and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by his nieces, Denise Bunting (Rick), Theresa Graybill (Allen), and Kelly Kline; special family members, Ben Atwater and Laura Bender; five great-nieces and nephews; ten great-great-nieces and nephews, with one on the way; his brother-in-law, William McCoy and his lifelong best friend of 60 years, Steve Forte;.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Gloria Theresa McCoy and Gladys Elizabeth Kline and her husband, Jay Kline.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 2, 2026, at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
