James Samuel Eddy Jr.

James Samuel “Bo” Eddy, Jr., 78, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at the Lebanon VA Hospital on June 21, 2026. Born in Columbia, PA, he was the son of the late James Sr. and Janet (Detz) Eddy.

James, also affectionately known as “Bo”, was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He served honorably during Vietnam and was last stationed upon the USS Bennington. Bo worked as a human resources director for over 30 years until his retirement.

Music was at the center of Bo’s world. He was a talented drummer and was part of the 1960s-70s band Little Duck & The Drakes.

Bo is survived by his brother Richard Eddy, as well as 3 generations of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 4 siblings: John Eddy, Georgia Kuhns, Dorothy Nace, and Vicki Arapolu.
